Behind The Seen won the 2015 The Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Service Award for Mental Health Promotion/Prevention of Mental Illness. The award was presented at the TheMHS Conference in Canberra by The Hon Dr Kay Patterson, National Mental Health Commissioner. the award was presented for best practice, excellence and innovation in mental health service delivery.
TheMHS Conference is the largest mental health and addiction services conference in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. TheMHS aims to promote positive attitudes about mental health and mental illness, and to stimulate debate that challenges the boundaries of knowledge and ideas about mental health care. Ross and Veronique also presented a session at the conference to an engaged audience from a variety of backgrounds.
